Helping you find more balance & calm in life.

Life just feels like too much sometimes. On top of your daily to-do list, you’re supposed to make sure you eat and sleep well, exercise, have a social life, and maintain relationships with your family and partner. Simply put, sometimes life is just plain overwhelming.

You can tell you have more than you can handle on your plate because you’ve started to isolate yourself and feel disconnected from the people you care about. It’s not really on purpose—you want to feel closer to the people you care about. But when there’s so much going on in both your internal and external life, sometimes it just feels easier to be alone.

Maybe you’ve also noticed yourself neglecting your basic needs and feeling just as exhausted physically as you do mentally. You know ignoring your own needs only makes things worse, but it feels like there’s not enough time in the day to take care of both your responsibilities and yourself.

Perhaps you’re also dealing with major life changes as well as the day-to-day stress—things like becoming a parent or facing new stages of parenthood, the loss of a loved one, or the end of a relationship. These kinds of big transitions (on top of everything) can make it seem like you’ll never be able to get back to “normal.”

Something has to give, but maybe you don’t have anyone you feel you can lean on for help. You know you want to change things, but you’re not quite sure how to go about it on your own.

Everyone needs support in life—someone to help them carry the heavy stuff and make transitions through life’s seasons a little easier. I would love to be that person for you and help guide you find your own understanding in the midst of life’s challenges.

  • As your therapist, I want to help you see new perspectives on (and possibilities for) your life. I know it takes strength and courage to reach out for support, and you should be proud of taking this initial step toward prioritizing your wellness.

If we can understand why we do the things we do, and acknowledge the feelings that influence our actions, we can begin to find new ways to approach the problems we’re having. And we can explore all of these things together.

I believe life reflects the effort and intention we put into it. The things we direct our energy toward change throughout, but we must connect with our intentions and put them consistently into action to live life the way we want to. We’re all people trying our best. There are tools an strategies that we can practice together to help you feel less overwhelmed.

In our sessions, you have permission to express and share whatever you’d like. I’m here to support you along this journey and want to hear it all so I can help you figure things out. My aim is that, through the work we do together, you realize your needs are as important as anyone else’s. I want to help you build resilience to the ebbs and flows of life that will make you feel confident about facing whatever the future holds.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from CSU Sacramento. I truly value the work I do and feel honored to have the relationships I have with my clients. My intention is that you walk away from our time together each week with more connected and balanced overall.
