Therapy for LGBTQIA2S+

Be who you are, with pride.

Sound familiar?

  • “I’ve felt different my whole life.”

  • “There’s no one I feel like I can talk to without being judged.”

  • “I’m so tired of having to justify my identity.”

  • “The shame I still feel is completely overwhelming.”

It’s exhausting trying to be yourself in a world that has made you feel anything but accepted.

From a young age, you knew you were different, and without ever having to be told, you also knew that being different was “bad.” That societal messaging has affected how you feel about yourself, despite all your efforts to leave those feelings behind. Maybe you haven’t come out yet and the idea of it terrifies you, or maybe you’ve been out for years, but still struggle with lack of acceptance from loved ones.

Now, navigating relationships and dating, trying to feel secure in your identity, and facing discrimination all feel like too much to handle, and you’re not sure how much more you can take.

We’re here to help you with:

  • Non-traditional dating & polyamory

  • Coming out

  • Self-esteem

  • Gender identity

  • Intimacy issues

  • Grief & loss

  • Navigating open relationships

  • Sexual exploration & identity

  • Shame

  • Overwhelming emotions

  • Perfectionism

  • Trauma & family issues

Everyone deserves to live authentically. We approach therapy for LGBTQIA+ folks from a place of openness, compassion, & acceptance.

Recognize & Affirm

In therapy with us, you’ll be able to fully let your walls down and express what you feel without any fear of judgment, no matter where you are in your self-discovery journey. We’ll talk about how the messages you received from family and society early in life are impacting you today. Our therapists are non-judgmental, trained to be trauma- and social justice-informed. We want to help you feel heard and seen in your sessions.

Conveniently Online

Find healing from the comfort of home. We’ll meet you where you’re at in our virtual office, and you can come as you are. We’re excited to get to know you and hold space for whatever you want to bring to your sessions.

Learn & Accept

Through therapy, you’ll learn the tools to face not only the day-to-day struggles of identifying as LGBTQIA2S+, but also to meet systemic oppression with resilience and strength. You’ll process unresolved emotions and accept yourself completely, which will lay the foundation for better relationships, a sense of community, and a more fulfilling life.
