Helping you cut through the noise and reconnect with who you truly are.
Sometimes the world makes it hard to hear your own voice. You’re the one who has it all together on the outside—showing up for others, doing all the “right” things—but inside you feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or like you’re constantly battling the same issues in your relationships. Maybe your anxiety has been getting harder to tune out. Maybe you’ve spent so long adapting that you’re not sure who you are without all the roles you’ve had to play. Or maybe you're just tired—of pleasing, performing, and pretending.
Therapy with me is a space to take the pressure off and actually look at what’s going on underneath all that effort.
I work with children, teens, adults, and couples navigating trauma, big life shifts, identity questions, and the emotional rollercoaster of being someone who feels things deeply. Many of the people I work with are the “strong ones,” the helpers, the achievers—people who’ve pushed through a lot, but are starting to realize they’re running on empty.
My clients are ready to explore how their past experiences shape their present, to question the messages they’ve been given about who they’re supposed to be, and to learn what it looks like to set new limits and boundaries so they can show up for themselves without apology.
Whatever you’re going through, however you’re feeling—you don’t have to hide any part of it here.

I bring a trauma-informed, identity-affirming lens to everything I do. That means I’ll hold space for your full humanity—your race, gender, culture, emotions, sexuality, values, and history—without judgment. I’ll also bring curiosity, respect, and a willingness to be challenged and learn from you.
In sessions, we’ll take off the “perfect” hat, the “I’m fine” hat, and yes, the “people-pleaser” hat. You get to put on your scientist hat instead: exploring patterns, testing out new ways of being, and figuring out what actually helps. I believe emotions (even the ones that feel inconvenient, shameful, or heavy) have something to teach us. When we get curious about what they’re trying to say, we can start making choices that come from self-understanding instead of fear or habit.
I’ll challenge you gently when needed, help you reframe stuck thinking, and offer accountability in a way that feels supportive. I’ll also equip you with tangible skills & strategies, because I care about what happens between sessions. Therapy with me isn’t just talk, it’s practice for the lasting change you want to create in your life. And there will be room for humor, too, when appropriate—because even in the hard moments, we’re still allowed to laugh and be human.
I hold a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Sacramento State, a BA in Psychology, also from Sacramento State and bring a deep awareness of how mental and physical health intersect. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in advocacy and policy at the Capitol—where I learned that real change begins with people feeling heard, seen, and believed. I’ve worked across systems and settings, and my passion lies in helping people heal from what they’ve survived and rebuild lives that feel aligned, empowered, and whole.
Let’s explore what’s been holding you back and discover what’s possible when you start choosing yourself.
