Samantha Gomez

Registered Associate PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL COUNSELOR (CA #20720)

Supporting you through challenges, trials and unexpected seasons as a human being.

On the outside, it might look like you’re holding it all together—showing up for work, caring for your family, and doing your best to be present for everyone else. But inside, it might feel like you’re running on empty. Maybe the anxiety never really quiets down, or the sadness feels heavier than you can explain. Perhaps you’re grieving a loss, navigating a big life change, or trying to find yourself again after years of showing up in roles that no longer fit.

For some, it’s the invisible weight of trauma or the constant sense of being “on alert.” For others, it’s the emotional fog that can come with postpartum changes—the love, guilt, and overwhelm that no one fully prepared you for. You might not even have the words for what’s happening inside, but you know something needs attention, space, and care.

If this resonates, I want you to know you’re not alone—and you don’t have to carry it all by yourself anymore. Therapy with me is a space where you can finally take a deep breath. You don’t have to perform, over-explain, or hold it together. You get to show up as you are and be met with compassion instead of judgment.

Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you—whether it’s anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, or the transitions of parenthood—and begin uncovering new ways to feel grounded, connected, and at peace. My goal is to help you rebuild trust in yourself, nurture your inner strength, and rediscover who you are beyond the stress, pain, or self-doubt.

This is your time—to slow down, to heal, and to come home to yourself.

  • I am a bilingual therapist, fluent in both English and Spanish, and passionate about creating an inclusive, affirming space where every part of your identity is welcomed and respected.

My approach is integrative and rooted in multicultural, existential, and cognitive behavioral (CBT) frameworks. This means I tailor therapy to your unique story, culture, and needs—combining practical tools with deeper self-exploration and emotional healing.

My clinical background includes providing bilingual counseling at the Mexican Consulate and completing advanced training at Sacramento State University’s Center for Counseling and Diagnostic Services, where I worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I have extensive experience supporting clients through postpartum challenges, identity shifts, and cultural stressors.

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Sacramento, and continue to engage in ongoing education and training focused on trauma-informed care, perinatal mental health, and multicultural counseling.

At the heart of my work is a belief that healing happens in safe, authentic relationships—especially when you feel seen and accepted for your whole self. My goal is to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and respect as you rediscover your capacity for resilience, peace, and growth.

Let’s begin your healing journey—together, in English or Spanish, and at your own pace.
