Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (CA #147141)
You don’t need the perfect words or all the answers—just a place where you can show up as yourself and start figuring things out.
Maybe you know something isn’t working, but you don’t quite know how to explain it yet. You’re overwhelmed more often than you want to be. Your emotions can feel like a lot. The same arguments keep happening in your relationships, or you find yourself reacting in ways you don’t fully understand. You may know you want things to be different—you’re just not sure where to start.
You don’t have to come to therapy with the perfect words or a perfectly defined goal.
I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship and family challenges, and major life transitions. Some of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns they’re ready to change, while others simply want to understand themselves, their emotions, and their relationships on a deeper level.
As your therapist, I want you to feel safe enough to be yourself. You can ask questions, be uncertain, talk about the hard things, laugh when something is funny, or tell me when something we’re trying just isn’t working for you. Therapy can involve vulnerable and difficult conversations, but it can also have moments of curiosity, creativity, connection, and even humor.
Together, we can look at what’s happening beneath the surface—not just what you’re feeling, but the thoughts, experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be contributing to it. We may work on regulating emotions that feel overwhelming, communicating what you need more effectively, setting healthier boundaries, developing coping skills you can actually use outside of therapy, or understanding why certain situations seem to affect you so deeply.
I believe you are the expert on your own experiences. I’m not here to tell you how you should live your life. My role is to listen, help you see things from different perspectives, and work alongside you as you decide what you want to change and what a healthier, more fulfilling life looks like for you.

I take a client-centered, trauma-informed approach and frequently incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This allows us to understand the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also developing practical tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, communication, and coping.
But therapy doesn't always have to look like two people sitting across from one another talking for an entire session. Creativity is an important part of who I am, and when it fits you, I enjoy incorporating art, activities, and other creative approaches into our work. Sometimes an experience is difficult to put into words, and finding another way to express or understand it can help us get somewhere that talking alone couldn't.
I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I also received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento. My clinical experience includes community mental health, school-based services, outreach, and outpatient therapy.
