Taylor Kennon
registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (CA #141346)
A space to stop performing, start understanding yourself, and become more confident in who you are and what you need.
You may be at a point in your life where everything seems to be changing at once. Relationships feel different. Family dynamics are becoming harder to ignore. You’re making decisions about school, work, your future, or who you want to be—and somehow it feels like everyone expects you to already have the answers.
Maybe you’re anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly second-guessing yourself. You might find yourself overthinking conversations, questioning your relationships, struggling to set boundaries, or worrying about disappointing the people around you. Maybe you’ve gotten really good at adapting to what others need from you, but you’re starting to wonder where you fit into all of it.
Or maybe you know something from your past is still affecting you. You notice the same triggers, relationship patterns, or emotional reactions showing up again and again, and you’re ready to understand why. You don’t necessarily need someone to tell you what to do—you want a space where you can figure out what you actually think, feel, need, and want.
I especially enjoy working with older teens and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationships, attachment challenges, identity, self-worth, boundaries, and the transition into adulthood. I also enjoy supporting women as they explore the experiences, expectations, relationships, and identities that have shaped the way they see themselves.
As your therapist, I want you to have a space where you don’t need to mask, perform, or have everything figured out. You can show up exactly as you are—even if you’re uncertain, overwhelmed, messy, or still trying to understand what you’re feeling. I’ll listen, get curious with you, and help you begin connecting the dots between your experiences, your relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to hand you the answers—it’s to help you recognize the insight, strength, and power that are already within you. Together, we can process what you’ve been through, better understand your triggers, strengthen your ability to communicate and advocate for yourself, and build relationships that feel healthier and safer.

Therapy should never feel one-size-fits-all. I take a collaborative, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, tailoring our work to who you are and what you need. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and humanistic approaches to help you develop practical coping skills while also creating space for deeper self-exploration and healing.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Concordia University Irvine and my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2023. I also bring four years of experience working in community mental health, supporting clients with diverse backgrounds, identities, cultures, and life experiences.
