Thanks for contacting Modern Sessions
More Than Therapy. A Place to Be Understood.
If you're reading this, there's a good chance you've already taken one of the hardest steps: reaching out.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, grieving, anxious, disconnected, or simply ready for something to change, we want you to know you're not alone.
At Modern Sessions, we believe therapy is about more than talking through problems. It's about building a relationship where you feel seen, understood, and supported enough to create meaningful change. We know that no two people are the same, which is why we don't believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy.
Our team is made up of clinicians with a wide range of specialties, therapeutic approaches, and personalities. Some specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, or couples work. Others have extensive experience supporting children, teens, parents, life transitions, or nervous system regulation. We intentionally build a diverse team so we can thoughtfully connect each client with a therapist who is the right fit.
When you submit an inquiry, we don't simply assign the next available therapist. We take time to understand what you're looking for and consider your goals, concerns, scheduling preferences, insurance, and the type of therapeutic relationship you're hoping to build. Our matching process is designed to give you the best possible start because we know the connection between you and your therapist matters.
Healing doesn't happen overnight, and therapy isn't about having all the answers. It's about having a safe place to ask questions, explore patterns, learn new ways of coping, and move toward the life you want to create.
Whatever brings you here, we're grateful you've trusted us with this part of your story.
A member of our team will be reaching out soon to discuss the next steps. If you have any questions in the meantime, we're always happy to help.
Call us at (916) 865-6833 or email Hello@ModernSessions.com.
We look forward to meeting you.
